Senior Boomi Developer

About the role

As a member of the Lovevery IT team, the Senior Boomi Developer will be responsible for the development of Lovevery’s Boomi integration platform. This position will be integral to managing data integrations between our e-commerce, ERP and partner systems. Candidates will require technical and business experience to implement solutions for new and existing data integrations. Ideal candidate is an IT professional with deep system integration experience with e-commerce and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, performance, functionality, and reliability of the integrations between Lovevery and external systems using Boomi
• Implement, upgrade and support Boomi platform and integrations in test and production environments
• Root cause and resolve production support issues relating to Boomi integrations, and work with other development teams to triage other systems’ errors
• Collaborate with various multi-functional teams, business stakeholders, and internal application development teams to define integration requirements and architect efficient & stable data integrations
• Perform integration testing for integrations and provide support for end-user acceptance testing of new integration processes
• Work with Lovevery partners and contractors to design, develop and test integrations
• Manage day-to-day error logs, triage and rectify as needed
• Document and analyze current business processes and underlying systems/applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent previous work experience
• 4+ years of practical Boomi design and development experience in a Senior position
• Expert Knowledge and hands-on experience in Boomi process building & deployment, API management, alert framework/exception handling, connectors/listeners, and API design
• 3+ Experience working with NetSuite application integrations and connectors
• 3+ years experience with ecommerce platforms, their processes and data (Shopify) in a public company
• Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision to solve technical support problems
• Experience working with API based integrations and knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and Web Services Interoperability
• Strong relational database background and SQL Skills
• Proven experience communicating and collaborating with individuals who possess a broad variety of technical and business knowledge
• Boomi Administrator, Developer or Architect certifications preferred
