Forefront Healthcare is looking for a Director of Menu Systems!  This position is covering all Food/Culinary accounts nationwide!  You will work 100% remote however travel of 30% is needed.  Must be near a large airport!

Position Summary:

This position is the Lead Subject Matter Expert for Mealsuite.  This position entails focusing on supporting accounts with Mealsuite systems and forging relationships with the Mealsuite team, Clients, and Forefront Managers.  

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establishes goals and oversees implementation of Mealsuite Culinary System and continued support (software, POS, and tablets). 
  • Liaison between Mealsuite, Regional Directors of Operations, onsite managers, and clients
  • Collaborates with the Vice President, Culinary on creating seasonal and Holiday menus.  Review menus to ensure extensions are accurate for therapeutic and textured diets.
  • Create recipes with Corporate Chef for IDDSI extensions
  • Complies with Forefront Diet Manual and Standard of Menu Parameters when creating Menus in Mealsuite. 
  • Develops training content and competencies for Mealsuite System for the People, Recipes, Menu, Production, and Reports Section.
  • Trains and develops managers on Mealsuite Systems within 2 weeks of their hire date and test their knowledge for competency.  Will have continuous training opportunities for further development.
  • Support Opening team with Mealsuite Core account and menu discussions.  Host pre-opening call to review transition of Mealsuite.
  • Communicates new Mealsuite offerings and upgrades.  Makes recommendations to Forefront leadership.
  • Monitors the Mealsuite technology upgrade process and communicates to the field to ensure a smooth process for operations.

 

 

Qualifications
  • 3 plus years’ experience in healthcare/long term care with menu system responsibilities
  • Must have thorough knowledge of therapeutic and textured diets
  • Must be able to multi-task, project management, and follow through on assignments 
  • Requires 25% of travel for onsite implementation and training of team member
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to use database systems and other programs and applications used by this position and at Company.
  • Basic knowledge of POS hardware and troubleshooting
  • Fluent in English language including reading, writing, and speaking; ability to read and write at a minimum of high school level; ability to clearly communicate to all levels in organization.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences or related field Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission of Dietetic Registration and Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in state(s) where applicable
