About the role and what you’ll be doing: 

As the Compensation Analyst you will assist with the implementation, communication and administration of our compensation plans and programs. You will be able to hit the ground running, learn our technologies, manage vendor relationships, understand our people, processes, and culture, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our team. As the successful candidate, you will take ownership, have an associate first approach, and a strong desire to make an impact.

We want all new Associates to succeed in their roles at Ensono. That’s why we’ve outlined the core job responsibilities and requirements below.

 

  • Completes moderately complex analytics to support compensation programs that may include the annual merit cycle budgeting, development of the semi-annual incentive accrual, ad-hoc pay recommendations and other as needed compensation analytics and auditing.
  • Conducts external and internal compensation analysis to determine position to market and makes recommendations for individuals and/or groups, as needed.
  • Participates in annual and ad-hoc compensation surveys which includes reviewing for data accuracy, timely submission and survey results and analytics. 
  • Project manages and supports the administration of company-wide rewards processes (merit, annual incentives and equity awards).
  • Keeps apprised of federal, state and local labor and compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance.
  • Manages compensation and employee data and reports in HRIS system (Workday).
  • Creates tools and training to aid HR Business Partners on individual or group compensation actions.
  • Advises HR Business Partners on compensation actions for associates using established structures and guidelines.
  • Analyzes and resolves system issues within Workday and BetterComp.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of department programs and procedures.
  • Assists on various special assignments, as requested, relating to compensation program administration and/or providing information for management or HR Business Partner use.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and very strong Excel skills, including deep knowledge of formulas, sorting, and formatting functionality.
  • Ability to continuously re shift, prioritize, and execute multiple projects and/or tasks working together collaboratively with HR teammates.
  • Have clear written communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess the ability to easily establish rapport with all levels of organization and to cultivate relationships.
  • Effectively manage sensitive and confidential communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred, with 3-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility within compensation.

We are a client-facing business, but we do encourage clients to allow us to work remotely most of the time so if you are not required to be on client site, you can choose to work from home or in our Ensono offices.
